Christmas Tree

Our tree went up the saturday before Thanksgiving because Isabella had been asking for it for a few days.  We had fun putting it up.  Of course, we quickly found out that we can only decorate the top half of the tree, because Bryce tried to eat the ornaments.  Yes, he dented a non-breakable ornament and chewed all the paint off of it.

Before Thanksgiving and our whole ordeal at the hospital with Isabella, she had a really bad cold and ended up with a sore next to her nose.  Well, it kept bleeding and we had to try to get a bandaid on it.  We tried regular bandaids first.  They didn't stay on very well, so then we found a knuckle bandaid and that seemed to work better, but then she had this major bandaid on her face.  Luckily she only had to have it on for a day or two.  But of course, I had to take the pictures for long term keeps.

Ken decided to let the kids play with the finger paints one evening, especially since they already needed a bath.  I think they had fun.

Liese's wedding

So back at the beginning of November, Pam and I did the flowers for another wedding.  The colors for the wedding were silver, black, and Tiffany Blue.  Of course, you can't really find flowers to match that.  Most of the flowers were white.  And we did find a way to get some Tiffany Blue roses.  There is a spray paint out there specially made for flowers.  They looked great and were kind of fun since they were unexpected.  Here are some pictures of the flowers.

I have a whole bunch of other things to post, but this will be it until I have more time to get those posted. 

Poor Isabella had been sick for a couple weeks with a cold/allergies or whatever.  Well, this past week she started running a fever.  We took her in to the doctor on Monday and they decided that it was probably just a virus and to use Ibuprofen/Tylenol to control the fever.  By Wednesday, she didn't seem to be getting any better, so we contacted the doctor and they called a prescription in on the off-chance that it was a UTI and/or strep.  So we started that with Isabella on Wednesday and she seemed to be doing a little better.  Then came Thursday night/early Friday morning.  She woke up fussing and when I went in, she was burning up.  About 5:30am, her temperature read 105.4.  We decided that we had no choice but to take her to the ER.  We got there and her temperature had gone down some, thankfully.  They checked her out and ran some tests (not fun getting the things they needed for those tests!) and everything came back normal.  Great!  The ER Dr came back in and talked to us told us that yes, it really looked to be a virus.  He advised us to continue with the antibiotic that our Primary Care Dr prescribed.  They gave her an IV and she seems to have bounced back pretty well.  She's still not eating great, but she's eating.  Here are a few pictures from our day at the hospital (sorry about the quality, they were from my phone).

Halloween - Trunk or Treat

The Trunk-or-Treat at church was this past Wednesday. We went, had fun, had some treats, got some candy. The kids loved being in costume. Well, Isabella did, I'm not too sure about Bryce though.

 We had to let her put on the Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) dress so that she would stop asking to wear her costume for the night

 And the unveiling....big surprise, she was Cinderella, because she is a princess, after all.  And she knows it too.

 As soon as I walked in with Bryce, people kept telling me that our friend, Shannon, was dressed as Minnie Mouse.  So of course I had to go find her.  When she saw Bryce, she said, "Oh my date showed up."  So of course, we had to get a picture of Mickey and Minnie together.

Pumpkin Patch

So last Saturday, we picked up our niece, Katlyn, and went to the Pumpkin Patch with the kids.  They had a blast.  This place had lots for the kids to do.  It was fun for all and we had great weather for it too.

Why I Love Fall!

Primary program

Every year the Primary Children at church do a program with scriptures and songs for the entire congregation.  I am the one that leads the music for the Primary Children.  Those children did so great and their little testimonies came out in full force.  I was just fine until our Bishop got up and expressed his gratitude for the children and their testimonies and then I started crying.  You really could feel the spirit in there so strong.  I am so proud of all my little Primary Children and singing so well for me.  My mom said that she could hear and understand all the songs and she was especially pleased because we sang one of her favorite songs. 

I do have to say however, that I am glad the program is over and now we get to move on to some other music instead of focusing so much on the music for the program.

I was really trying to get a picture of Bryce's face to show off his scratches.  He fell in Ken's parents yard and scratched up his face.  This unfortunately was the best picture I could get of it.

And this was just too cute to pass up.  I love the look on his face.  And its all because he was watching "Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue."  Trust me, that will be used as blackmail at some point in his life.  =D
