Animal Kingdom

Our last day was spent at Animal Kingdom. We started out meeting a character before we even went into the park.

We saw the "Tree of Life" and the Its Tough to be a Bug show. Isabella wasn't too sure about that show, it kinda freaked her out.

We saw the "Festival of the Lion King" show. It was pretty cool.

We went on a Safari.

This is how our kids saw the Safari.

Took some goofy pictures.

And rode on some Dinosaurs.

We ended the day by going back to Epcot to see the fireworks. It was a pretty darn cool way to end our days at Disney World.

Today we're going to take Linda and Mike to the airport and hang around Downtown Disney for a little while. And pack things up so we don't have to do too much in the morning.

Epcot

We went to Epcot on Wednesday. It was COLD and windy. Thanks to the web browser on my cell phone and the mobile website - m.disneyworld.go.com, we found out that Snow White would only be in Germany from 11:30-Noon, so we headed on over to Germany first. And this was definitely the highlight of Isabella's day because she LOVES Snow White. Ken asked in one of the shops and the employee called to make sure Snow White was coming and told her that a little girl was waiting to see her favorite Princess. When Snow White came out, she heard me say Isabella's name, and came up and said, Hi Isabella, do you want to go on a walk with me? So they went out to wave Hello across the lagoon to Mulan.

Sitting and chatting

Ken's Mom rented a scooter for the week, and then it was so cold that she bought this poncho in Mexico. You definitely couldn't miss her coming.

Then about 5pm at Epcot, the battery was pretty much dead. (The company was very nice and came and replaced the battery and we've had no more problems.) It had enough power that a little push from our stroller helped it move along. Later we just popped to tow hitch lever and pushed it.

Isabella liked to "drive" it too.

Isabella also got to meet a few other characters, but I'm sorry to say, they paled in comparison to Snow White for her.

Mickey Mouse

Minnie Mouse

Donald Duck

Goofy

We were at Epcot at the beginning of the Flower & Garden Festival (despite it being freezing cold). They have these topiary's all over the park. They were fun to look at. We went in the butterfly tent but the butterflies weren't very active, probably because it was cold.

Our Resort and relaxing on Tuesday

Tuesday was a nice relaxing day away from the park. We took our time getting up, then went swimming. It was warm outside but very windy. Here's Isabella getting ready to go swimming.

She wasn't too sure about the pool for a while, but she warmed up to it about the time we were getting ready to leave.

The heated pool was great until we had to get out and got hit by the major wind.

Then we went up to see Stuart and his family. Isabella liked looking at the snakes.

Our resort is awesome. Here are some pics from it.

The views from the balcony. (Sorry, I didn't take any pics until we'd been here for a few days.)

Our room, it had two double beds, so we moved one a created a giant bed.

One of the other rooms.

The master bedroom and bathroom.

And of course, the living room and dining room.

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom was yesterday. We were too stinkin' tired when we got home to update the blog. We had a blast and saw a lot.

We even picked up a little Mickey Mouse.

Isabella (and Bryce) got to meet Pluto and get his autograph almost as soon as we got to the park.

After lunch, we met Cinderella....

...and Belle...

...and Princess Aurora.

Then two munchkins crashed out. She didn't even wake up when we asked if she wanted ice cream.

So while the little ones were asleep, Grandma and PopPop stayed with them, while Ken and I and Linda and Mike went on the Dumbo ride.

They woke up while we were gone, so then we went on the Carousel.

Isabella waiting for Mommy's favorite part of the whole day.

The Spectromagic parade. I love this parade.

Mike chillin' out around parade time----before the Dole Whip melted all over the place. Yes, we had to go get Dole Whip between the parade and the Fireworks.

Isabella watching the fireworks. She's convinced that Uncle Mike turns the fireworks on.

Today is an easy lazy day and tomorrow is more parks. We're heading up to Daytona area to visit Ken's friend, Stuart, and family.
