More Snow

So this is what I woke up to this morning. Well, a little bit less, this was taken a few hours after I got up.

So what do we do when it looks like that outside?

Sleep on the couch and watch movies/TV. As of about 7:30pm, we have 5 inches.

Meltdowns!

So Isabella decided that she didn't need a nap today. After several meltdowns through the afternoon and at dinnertime, I took her to the store with me because I'd forgotten a couple things when I went earlier in the day. She fell asleep on the way to Target. She stayed asleep when we went into the store. She stayed asleep when I put her in the cart. She stayed asleep while I tried shoes on her. She stayed asleep when I put her back in the car. She stayed asleep the whole way home. She stayed asleep until I tried to lay her down on the couch. Then we entered meltdown mode again. Ken finally got her calmed down and she is now playing on the Wii Fit Plus. She likes the bird one and the skateboarding one. Here are some funny pictures from the store though.

Oh so sweet...

So last night, we put Isabella down for bed and were hanging out with Bryce in our room. He proceeded to spit up all over his pajamas. We took them off while we went to get some clean ones. He decided he really was excited about "naked time" and was squealing and laughing like crazy. Next thing we know, we hear Isabella crying. Ken went in to check and see what the problem was. She was upset because she thought Bryce was crying. She had to come in and see for herself that he was actually happy. So she gave him a kiss and then headed back to bed and was fine after that.

Cutie-pies

Ken took these pictures before I came downstairs this morning. Isabella really hasn't "held" Bryce since he was born. But its just too cute with them together in their PJs.

Its done! Its done! Its done! Below are pictures of an afghan I have been working on for the last year. Its a (belated) wedding present for our niece, Tiffany. She got married last Christmas and I finally finished this afghan this morning. I think it turned out quite beautiful, if I do say so myself. And yes, that is Bryce crashed out on the couch next to it.

Picture a Day

So a friend of mine told me that she was going to do this Project 365, where you take a picture and post about it every day. I thought it would be a ton of fun to do as well, so I set up a separate blog for my own Picture a Day Project. You can check it out at:

I hope you all enjoy this pictorial glimpse into our life.
