Can you believe she let me do this?

So I decided to see if Isabella would let me really mess with her hair. And this was after having to shampoo it twice because she evidently threw up overnight. I think its just from the congestion she's had. We heard her cough a couple times and then she went back to sleep, so we didn't get up. But anyways. I put Paz on (its a short show that comes on in between the shows on Discovery Kids) and made sure she had her Apple Jacks and her juice (water) and she sat there. The only time she fussed was when I had to spray her hair down a little. But man, if I didn't think she was looking grown up before, she sure does now. If you can't see what I did, I did six ponytails at the front of her head and then I took two at a time of those and combined them with a little more hair to create three new ponytails. Having a little girl can be so much fun!

A bunch of randomness....

No major stories or anything here. So this post will probably just be a bunch of randomness. But hey, as long as there are pictures, who cares, right? This has been a rough week for Ken. He had a tooth start hurting him on Sunday afternoon. The dentist wasn't able to see him until Tuesday. They did nothing for him other than provide him some pain killers. They told him the tooth would either need a root canal or to be pulled, but they couldn't do it until March 12. So we called and got him in with an Oral Surgeon for today (Thursday). Unfortunately, he also had a corporate visit at his store this week, so he couldn't even really take any time off to deal with this. Luckily the visit was this morning, so he was fine to come home once they left and we'll leave for his appointment shortly.

We have new adventures with Isabella on a daily basis. Her favorite thing to do lately is to find anything she can wrap around her shoulders and walk around saying, "cold, cold." Its quite cute actually. When I grab her to give her a hug, she also will now say that she's "tuck" (stuck). But she can be very cuddly sometimes and at times even loves to give kisses. Here are a few random pictures of the past few weeks in our house.

Speaking of Isabella and her "cold, cold." This was at Aunt Linda's and she was walking around with a pillow case. So Aunt Linda put her in the pillow case and put a pillow on the floor and she had a ball curling up IN the pillow case. Goofy kid.

Bad hair day for an 18 month old.

Then, just to show that we do actually do something with her hair at times.

So the other day, I went to get Isabella dressed and grabbed a pair of jeans. However, there was a little problem when I put them on her. Evidently, they were capris, not jeans. So she looks like she was waiting for a flood. I did change her pants. Then she looked like she was ready to head to the gym or something.

My little hoodlum baby. Isabella loves to put hats on her head. Any hat. Or mixing bowl. Or box. This hat happens to be black knit and she looks like a little hoodlum baby in it. She was yelling at me about something. I have no idea what. Probably for taking her picture or something. She's very vocal. I just wish I knew what she was saying.

Nursery

Isabella is 18 months old today. So anyone in the Mormon church knows that means that Isabella can now go in the nursery. Woo hoo. This means that Mommy and Daddy might actually get to hear a Sunday School lesson. She did quite well in there today. She went in and there were toys, so of course she'd be fine. I peaked in at one point and she was crying, but Ken thinks the Primary Chorister scared her when he came in for singing time. But she settled down and stayed in there the whole time. Now, we'll just have to wait and see if she does as well next week.
