She's growing up too fast!

Our baby girl is just getting too big! She's now 2 feet 4 inches tall and almost 20 pounds. She's a
chunker all right. She crawling all over the place and pulls herself up on everything. She gets in to everything. I finally had to break down a couple weeks ago and screw the baby gate into the banister posts. She's getting very daring letting go of things when she's standing there. One of these days, she'll surprise herself and stay standing. Her favorite game right now is peek-a-boo with Mommy, not so much with Daddy though. She is very definitely going through her stranger anxiety stage, which can be a little trying on Mommy and Daddy, but they're surviving. She's finally starting to get back to her normal sleeping schedule, its been off since she had the flu. Daddy is out of town for business this week, so Mommy is going to see if Isabella can learn to go to sleep in her crib instead of being held until she's asleep. We'll see how that goes. We'll see how Mommy is by the end of the week.

Otherwise Ken and Tammy are busy working on the yard and trying to get the house organized. We're working on some home improvement projects a little at a time so that we don't have to do everything at once when we think about selling this place.

Here are a few pictures just because she's so darn cute.

What is this stuff you sat me in?

Here's our crawling monster:

I'll try to have more pictures for my next post.

Welcome Spring!

We are very excited that we are starting to see some signs of spring. All the Bradford Pear trees, Cherry trees and the Plum trees are blooming and it is beautiful. Now if only the weather would stay warm.

I haven't posted pics in a few weeks so here's some new ones.

What? I swear I'm not doing anything!

Why are you laughing at me stuck under the couch....you're supposed to HELP me!

Look I've got a sprout coming out of the top of my head.

Yummy....books taste good.

Aunt Linda decided to play with my hair again. I think she's giving me horns this time.

Ooh toes, I should chew on them!! And you can see the evidence of Aunt Linda's hair styling.

The day before Easter, we went to an Easter Egg hunt on Quantio Marine Corps base. It was fun. Aunt Linda took the pictures, so we'll post some of those when she sends them to me.

Here's me and my cute Easter outfit!

And look, I pulled myself up to standing. All by myself! And guess what?!? I'm finally crawling forwards instead of only going in reverse.

I'm such a big girl!

Isabella hit a couple new milestones this week. On Saturday, she started sitting up on her own. She's just such a big girl! And on Tuesday, we discovered that she has cut at least one, and maybe two teeth. You can't really see those teeth yet, but you can definitely feel them. Here's my pumpkin sitting up.

Now I promised some more pics from Florida, so here you go.

I loved the pool. I just sat back and chilled out.

Here's me and a few Disney characters.

And here's our little Minnie Mouse.

And she sure loves the Pooh Bear her Grandma Gallahan got her.

Can we go back to Florida? Its warm there!

Well, we survived our trip to Florida. It was definitely an interesting experience with Tammy, Ken, and Isabella along with Tammy's sister, Tammy's parents, and Ken's parents. We had a great time though. We enjoyed walking on the beach and swimming at the resort (the ocean was too cold). We had fun at Daytona USA where Tammy beat out everyone in the simulators. We enjoyed ourselves at Disney's Epcot center one day and Disney's Magic Kingdom another day. It was fun to take Ken's parents there for the first time. It was actually their first time to Florida too. So it was fun to see their excitement over everything.

Here are a few pictures from the trip. I'll upload more once I can get them on the computer.

She just couldn't handle it anymore. She fell asleep on Grandpa Dixon after a long rough day in the car.

This is at the hotel at our midway stopping point of Florence. She wouldn't let her Daddy have a banana without giving her some.

This was taken in the car and she was being just too cute.

And this is Isabella after a swim in the pool. She really enjoyed the pool.

What happened to January?

So I was looking at my siblings blogs and realized that I haven't posted in a while. January has been busy. Early in the month we celebrated Tammy's dad's retirement. He worked for the US Patent and Trademark Office for 35 1/2 years. There were a lot of nice things said about Dad at his retirement luncheon. The rest of the month since then has just been trying to get cleaned up and slightly organized from Christmas. The organization part hasn't really happened yet, but we're working on it.
This week we're preparing to head out to Florida. The three of us are traveling to Florida with Tammy's parents and Tammy's sister as well as Ken's parents. It will make for an interesting trip. But Isabella will get to go swimming for the first time! That will be fun. I'll try to make sure I get some pictures of that.
Isabella tried a little piece of Auntie Anne's pretzels last week. She wasn't sure about it at first, but she liked it after a while. But we did find out that she is just like her father and like licorice. Ken got a yard of licorice for Christmas and was swinging one of the ropes over Isabella. She got ahold of it and put it in her mouth and chowed down. She had red drool all over her face.

And the big news of the month....Tammy has lost all of her pregnancy weight and then some. She now wears a smaller size than when she and Ken got married. Hooray!!!

Here's a couple cute pics of her, especially of her with the licorice.
