More sledding videos

We went sledding up at Godwin Middle School. Isabella isn't quite ready for the hill to the football field, so we just went down the hill from the tennis courts to the soccer fields. She had a blast.

First time down the hill with Daddy. Linda and Mike weren't there yet with the sleds, so we had brought a plastic tray that I didn't care if it got messed up. It seemed to work well until Ken broke it trying to "surf" down the hill on it.

Sledding

Isabella had a ball sledding. As soon as they'd get down the hill, she say "Again" and start trekking towards the hill. She tried climbing it a couple times but would fall a short way up. She even sled down by herself a couple of times. Here are the still shots and a few videos. Once the battery charges on the main video camera, I'll get those videos posted. I had fun watching the revelry until I realized that the car key was no longer in my pocket. Luckily Uncle Mike found it after Linda and I left to see if there was a key to our house at Mom & Dad's house so that we could get the extra car key. Found out we don't have an extra key at their house, so I'll be making a trip to the hardware store to fix that problem. Then we came home and warmed up noses and toes and had dinner.

It's snowing, continued.

It's snowing!!!

It's finally snowing....a lot. I feel like a giddy little kid who is going to get out of school for snow. But of course, there's no school around here today because its a Teacher Work Day. Go figure that would be when it snows.

I'm just excited because we can finally take Isabella out to play in the snow for the first time. Don't worry, I will take pictures/video and will post them later.

This was all the snow we got.....none, zilch, nada. Stupid weatherpeople. I mean, come on, if I'm going to have to endure 20 degree days, at least give me some snow to go with it.



And here's a pic of Isabella giving me a hug when she got up from her nap yesterday. She was being goofy.

A little bit of randomness...

Just a few random things...

It's a Marshmallow World in the Winter. It was so cold (15 degrees) that we put Isabella's snow pants on just for the extra warmth. Since we haven't had any snow, we gotta get some sort of use from them.


For some reason, Isabella would not come all the way down the stairs. So she's watching TV through the stairs.


And last but not least, she's using my small colander as a hat. I always have to make sure my bowls are actually clean when I go to use them because she loves to play with them.
